1500th Execution in US Set for June 20 in Georgia!
URGENT UPDATE
We knew this could happen, and here it is. Georgia is the only state that sets an execution date and carries it out within a two week window. Georgia just announced a new date for June 20 — two weeks from yesterday! The next execution will be the 1500th since executions resumed in the United States in 1977.
