Federal Executions Stayed: Tennessee has next action opportunity!
The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotion for all of us. Last Friday with the stay of Rodney Reed’s execution, we glimpsed the potential impact of our message and your efforts. We are encouraged, now more than ever, to continue our labor of love, and life.
Now we are gratefully ending the week with stays of all of the federal execution dates. Although the Federal stays are fluid as we await the response of the government, we applaud this victory for the legal teams working on the federal cases, and we remain optimistic.
While recent court decisions have aligned with our ideals, the relevance of our engagementsplanned in Terre Haute, Indiana has not diminished. The State of inJustice: An International Human Rights Day Convocation will go on as scheduled on December 8th. Click here to learn more, see sponsorship opportunities, and plan to be with us!
Stop the Next TN Execution!
We would also like to take a moment to shine a light on the upcoming March4Mercy in Nashville Tennessee on December 1st. We will gather at 1 pm near Riverbend Maximum Security institution and march at 2pm to the state’s capitol.
Right now, signing our petition is the best way to help us end the death penalty. Those who have already signed, we ask you share it at least once in a message or post. Thank you in advance for joining the fight!
Thank you. Yours in the Struggle,
— Abe & Scott

PS: Please chip in $5 or more — as much as possible, really — using a credit card, Paypal or you can even do it the traditional way and send a check. We can only do this work because of YOU! The info you need is here. Please make the most of every opportunity to work for justice this week and every week!
