It’s Not Just Another Tuesday…

A Stripped Down #GivingTuesday Message… This is Our “Why.”

Death Penalty Action has been on the front lines on the question of federal executions since the current president was inaugurated in January, 2017.

We knew it was just a matter of time before federal executions would resume. We looked around and saw a gap in the anti-death penalty movement.

Who would lead when federal executions resumed?

Who would provide tools to allow anyone who wanted to take action to do so?

Because of YOU, Death Penalty Action has filled that gap.

Death Penalty Action has been there through all of the executions of the past six months, and we’ll keep at it for the next six weeks. And here’s the good news. As awful as the current federal execution spree is, the fact is that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Our job is NOT to change anyone’s mind. Our job is to find those who agree with us and get them to *do something*. And we’re doing it. Because that is how our movement will win.

Everything we’ve been up to is laying a foundation for what’s possible when the killing stops on January 20, 2021. We’ve got a plan. Together we will abolish the death penalty.

Thank YOU for being a part of this work.

It’s #GivingTuesday. If you are inclined to participate, I ask for your generous consideration today. Click here to support Death Penalty Action today.

Yours in the Struggle,
