Voices of Experience on the Death Penalty will feature a discussion about the protests of the federal executions on August 26 and August 28, and also the upcoming executions scheduled for September 22 and 24, what can we all do about them.
Special Guests include Attorney Ashley Kincaid Eve (pictured), a member of the Advisory Board of Death Penalty Action and a friend of Chris Vialva, scheduled to be executed on September 24. Also, Sister Barbara Battista (tentative), a founder of the Terre Haute Death Penalty Resistance Network and spiritual advisor to Keith Nelson, the man executed on August 28th. AND, Lauren Sobchak, a leader with Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, which has been staging local federal execution vigils.
