On Day One…

Death Penalty Action

Joe Biden promised that one of his first actions is to sign an executive order banning all federal executions.

This is a giant step away from the previous administration that executed 13 people, but we want to take it a step further. We are working with leaders in Congress to put a bill on Joe Biden’s desk in first 100 days that abolishes the federal and military death penalty once and for all.

We need your help to do it.

We’re looking to hire 20 organizers to mobilize support for HR 262, the Federal Death Penalty Prohibition Act of 2021. With your help, we’ll work to ensure the bill passes in both chambers. Can you donate $1 per day for the next 100 days to make sure we have the resources to get an abolition bill to Joe Biden’s desk?

$1 » $10 » $100 » Other »

Anyone who donates $100 or more will get a free piece of crime scene tape that we recently used in our symbolic actions at the Department of Justice in Washington, DC and at the prison in Terre Haute.

We declared the Federal Correctional Institution at Terre Haute a crime scene and taped it off. That didn’t last long, but our action was enough to delay things a bit, and forced the vans driving the media witnesses
We surrounded the Department of inJustice with Crime Scene Tape as we called for the execution warrants to be rescinded. See video of the action here

Donate $1 per day (or $100/Day!) for the next 100 days to make sure we have the resources to get an abolition bill to Joe Biden’s desk!

Yours in the struggle,

— Abe
