Petitions Delivered: Half a Million+ say NO to Trumps’ Executions!
We have important news. I’m in Washington DC, where we just delivered over half a million of your petition signatures to the Department of Justice, demanding a halt to next week’s scheduled federal executions of Lisa Montgomery, Corey Johnson and Dustin Higgs. People are still signing petitions here.
This is Death Penalty Actions’ largest petition delivery to-date and will send a clear message that the death penalty is wrong, must be abolished, and that the will of the people is for Donald Trump’s outrageous and unprecedented execution spree to be stopped immediately.
I want to thank you for your support and make it clear that we have to keep up the momentum. With three executions scheduled next week, we can’t stop now. We have to keep going, make our voices heard and push the new administration to ban the death penalty.
