SEVEN NEW EXECUTION DATES Requested in Oklahoma! Take Action!

URGENT! Even though it is unclear if the state has a viable means of conducting executions, yesterday, the Oklahoma Attorney General asked the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals to set execution dates for seven individuals starting with John Grant on October 7, 2021 and Julius Jones on October 28, 2021.

We have two opportunities for immediate action:

1. NEW PETITION: Julius Jones is a man with a very strong innocence claim. He has a clemency hearing on September 13th. Sign here to join the call for clemency in this case.
2. Oklahoma has added the gas chamber and may soon experiment with the idea of smothering prisoners with nitrogen gas. Say NO to the gas chamber here.
