This will be the second execution in Texas this year, with seven others scheduled in 2020 so far. Texas is one of eight states that still actively use the death penalty while the majority of states are abandoning this practice.

Death Penalty Action will deliver your petition signatures to the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles before they meet on Wednesday (tomorrow), and to the Governor on Thursday if the Board does not stop the execution.

Please sign the petition right now, and then use the sharing tools to push it out further on your social media.

Thank you,

Abe & Scott, Co-Directors
