Texas Halts All Executions in 2020 for COVID19; Feds Have Two Killings Next Week

This is urgent. Texas has just withdrawn its last execution date scheduled in 2020, and yet, two federal executions are still set for next week. One on Tuesday, September 22nd and another on Thursday, September 24th.

President Trump’s time in office has been marked with miscarriages of justice and disregard for human lives. Next week marks another moment of such disregard. The COVID pandemic has stalled all state level executions, but President Trump and Attorney General Barr are pushing forward their agenda to set new records of federal executions.

Together we will stop President Trump and Attorney General Barr.

What’s clear is this: Death Penalty Action is leading the grassroots effort to stop federal executions. Together, with your support, we’re making the difference.

Thank you,
