Veteran to be Executed in Ohio!

It’s been a few weeks and we wanted to make sure you are weighing in where it matters most, because together we really can make the difference when it comes to ending executions.

First, with Memorial Day approaching in the United States, we want to acknowledge and thank all those who have died in service to this country.

In Ohio, we’re working with Ohioans to Stop Executions to stop the next scheduled execution in that state. Today, Death Penalty Action co-director Abe Bonowitz will attend the clemency hearing for Robert Van Hook, who is scheduled to be executed July 18. Van Hook is an honorably discharged veteran who fell through the cracks. Learn more and take action here. Follow Abe’s tweets here.

Death Penalty Action has been at it just over a year, and because of YOU, we’re not going away! With your support and investment today, we’ll keep going, and we’ll grow. We’re excited to tell you that we’ve now added PayPal as a mechanism to invest in our success. If you use Paypal, click here!

Thank you. Make it a great day!
