Yesterday evening, Death Penalty Action was Live on Facebook with Rodney Reed’s brother and supporters in front of the US Supreme Court. The reason Rodney Reed has an execution date is because Rodrick, Wana, RJ & Richard came to the Annual Fast & Vigil at the US Supreme Court that we manage each June 29-July2. They shared Rodney’s story and received front page coverage in their local paper. This annoyed the prosecutor, and an execution date was set. It seems absurd. The prosecutor calls it a “a coincidence.” And yesterday’s event was entitled “Return to the Supreme Court.” Watch the video here.
