When someone is executed, the impact on that prisoners’ loved ones is immeasurably traumatic.

Friend,

I’m getting ready to join the Death Penalty Action team again, on the ground this time to put a spotlight on the next two federal executions in Terre Haute, Indiana with Bill Pelke, Ashley Kincaid Eve, Abe Bonowitz and others.

Standing with Gina as her father was executed in Arkansas in 2017. Read about Death Penalty Action’s work there.

I was part of the team in 2017 in Arkansas when they tried to kill 8 men in 11 days, just to use up the drugs before the expiration date. I was in Georgia last year for the 1500th execution. I’ll never forget the shrieks of pain of that mans daughter when she learned her father had been killed.

I do this in loving memory of my brother Ronnie Lee Gardner, who was executed in Utah in 2010. My brother is the last man executed by firing squad in these United States.

When someone goes to prison, their family goes with them. When someone is executed, the impact on that prisoners’ loved ones is immeasurably traumatic. I am going to Terre Haute to be a presence and a voice for the families of the prisoners.

I am inviting your support to help cover my transportation, hotel and food as I do this work with Death Penalty Action. Please click here to support my presence on the team with your generous donation today.

The death penalty just creates more victims families, and it all must stop. You can help.

Yours in the Struggle,

Randy Gardner

P.S. Doing this work is difficult, but I can’t not do it. Thank you for supporting our efforts on the ground in Terre Haute.
